Hi neighbors,
This is so odd that it is difficult to describe but I think it is worth sharing.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been awakened on at least 4 occasions by someone waving an extremely bright flashlight through our front and side yard (the side that is mostly an open lot). The light is intensely bright, narrow and it is hand-held.
This happened again last night at about 12:45 am. As soon as Paco began to bark the light turned off abruptly and I couldn’t hear anyone – no one seemed to be walking. About 10 minutes later our motion lights on our garage went on but that could be caused by an animal. As much as I tried, I couldn’t hear or see anyone or anything.
What was different about last night, was that the light was being pointed at the open lot between L and J’s property across the street and R and J’s house next door (the two houses that used to be owned by Jackie).
It just seems a bit off especially since it is so late at night. I don’t hear a dog wandering around and the person is so quiet after they shut the light off that I’m really wondering what the heck is going on. And it seems like of obvious that a light that bright might wake people and dogs up. It isn’t very subtle.
Now, if it is a neighbor who is walking their dog off-leash and using the flashlight to keep an eye on it, please let me know. Otherwise, just be aware.

Nothing odd but bugs and bats on my cams but they are set very tight on the trigger/alert areas.
I should look into freeing them up a bit.
Have they been usually around midnight or a wider range of random times?

All have been in the middle of the night. Some people are night owls and I guess it could be someone out for a walk. But it just seems a little off.
